Surname is spelled "Mendalstam" in online cemetery records, but "Mandelstam" on the monument. Photo taken to document the repair and restoration of graves in lot 2003, which was commissioned by the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia in the fall of 2021.

To bring out the faded lettering as much as possible, two photos were taken of the obverse side of the monument, each with lighting supplied from a different angle. The reverse side of the monument contains no writing. Photo taken to document the repair and restoration of graves in lot 2003, which was commissioned by the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia in the fall of 2021.

The name inscribed on the monument is "Isaac M. Brenman".

Lot 1700 is mostly in ruins. Only Hyman Berger's monument is readable at Grave 4. Remnants of a headstone and footstone are visible at Grave 5, where Isaac Katz is buried. Solomon Nowskelsky/Greenburg's monument is visible at Lot 1699, Grave 5. The pieces of marble leaning against Hyman Berger's monument are smooth. No writing is evident on them. It is quite possible—perhaps likely—that the pieces were once a part of Isaac Katz's monument.
