Maps

This month I reveled in the success of the Genealogical Society of Pennsylvania's virtual PaGE event, in which I played a bit part as a tech moderator. I also hopped on QGIS to map the land of some of my other Lancaster ancestors, the Eisenbergers. Lastly, it's back to school, and this year has gotten off to a fun start, as I settle into my new role as school technology coordinator

Happy World Backup Day! In this tech-heavy episode, I describe how I set up my web server for easy backup of content and configuration files. I celebrate the recent release of the QGIS 4.0 mapping software. Finally I hint at the revival of my efforts to apply for the Pennsylvania Ancestors Lineage Society. It may be a little much for the casual genealogist, but it's the most important this I did this month. Enjoy it as much as you can!
